Warehouse Packer/Shipper
We are looking for someone to help pick, pack and ship orders from our e-commerce store. We are growing rapidly, and need someone who can come in the mornings to help pick and pack the orders for the day. Job duties would be taking packing lists and a cart, and picking orders from the warehouse, packing them, weighing them, printing postage and shipping out orders. ATTENTION TO DETAIL IS A MUST. Mis-shipped orders cost us money, so attention to detail is critical in this role. Hours are flexible, but approximately from 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM Monday – Friday. Great for a stay at home mom or dad looking to make some extra money while kids are in school!
Experience Required
Basic computer knowledge a necessity – you must be comfortable using computers. You will be pulling up orders in our software, estimating shipping costs in UPS and USPS software, and switching back and forth between programs repeatedly. Microsoft Office experience a plus. Previous warehouse experience a major plus.
Compensation
$7.50-11.50/hr commensurate with experience
Customer Service Representative
Do you love helping people? Are you personable, friendly, and always in a great mood? We’re looking for a part-time customer service representative to answer phones, take orders, answer customer inquiries, and contact customers who have problems with their orders. This job is primarily an office job, 99% dealing with customers via phone and email so good written and verbal communication skills are a necessity. Hours are flexible, but will be approximately Monday – Friday 2PM – 7:30 PM. Great hours for a college student looking to learn on-the-job skills and make some money! All applicants MUST submit a resume in addition to a standard application. If you do not have a resume on Troup County Works, we will reply to your application asking for one.
Experience Required
Must have basic computer experience including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), good written and verbal communication skills, etc. Previous customer service experience a plus.

Effective today, January 1, 2011 the flat-rate shipping will increase from $5 to $6. We hate to have to increase prices, but shipping prices continue to rise, and we already pay much more than $6 for 90% of the packages we ship out.
We hope you understand this marginal price increase. You can still enjoy free shipping to all orders over $100 (to the contiguous US, see our website for details).

We had another successful shoe show in August at the Atlanta Shoe Market. We searched for new brands in large sizes and booked Spring orders with our current shoe vendors. Want to see what’s coming soon? Read on.
We found a few new brands – Timberland, Rockport, and Keen. Our Timberland and Keen orders have already been placed and will hopefully arrive in our warehouse over the next few weeks. We are currently setting up our Rockport account to bring you their best selling World Tour oxford. If you haven’t heard of or worn Keen before you will love their best-selling sandal, the Newport H2. And everyone knows about the Timberland Pro work boot – available in wide and extra-wide widths!
If you are a fan of our Columbia line you will love what’s coming in Spring! More styles in more colors so you can shop until your heart’s content. We’ll have great trail shoes, trail running shoes, and several sandal options, including a leather slide!

We’re excited to announce after several months of filling out paperwork, waiting on account setup, and waiting on shipments, Bostonian dress shoes are here!
